Estimates for planning and purchasing
KSA Home Calc provides material estimates from the measurements and assumptions shown in its tools. A result is not an approved site takeoff or a final purchase instruction. Review the scope, dimensions, units and product information with the contractor or engineer responsible for your project before relying on a quantity.
Actual consumption can differ because of surface condition, cuts, breakage, installation methods and product details. A waste allowance or a rounded-up pack count does not guarantee sufficiency for every project. The site does not promise a particular construction outcome or saving.
Defaults and measurements
Default values are editable examples, not mandatory specifications. Use the chosen product's data, approved project documents and actual site measurements. Check whether a figure represents metres, centimetres, square metres, cubic metres, kilograms or litres before entering it.
The current text and defaults remain drafts awaiting local review. The site does not claim professional verification that has not occurred. Corrections may change text or assumptions when better information is confirmed, so preserve the input values behind a material review rather than keeping only the final number.
Limits of the tools
Do not use these calculators to decide load capacity, design structural walls, slabs or foundations, or specify structural mixes. They provide no engineering or legal approval and do not certify contractors, suppliers or products mentioned in an example.
Each tool covers the stated material only. A block count is not a mortar order, a tile quantity does not include adhesive or grout, and finishing-paint litres do not include primer or filler. Confirm the complete material scope separately with the people responsible for the work.
Sharing and reviewing results
You can share a calculation link or print its results for discussion with an installer or supplier. Keep the measurements, assumptions and material scope visible so the reviewer can understand the number. Review a link before sharing and avoid including information you do not want others to see.
An optional cost produced from your own entered price is an arithmetic estimate using that price. It is not a current quotation, a live price feed or a complete project budget. Check delivery and any other charges directly with the supplier.
Corrections and contact
If you identify a calculation or content issue, use the contact page to prepare a repeatable example. The page also states whether the intended contact address has been verified for this version. Correcting content or responding to feedback does not approve a particular project's quantity.
These terms describe the current draft tool and require review before public launch. The measured site conditions and approved project specifications remain the basis for purchasing and execution decisions.
